"So can you stay?" 

"Yep! She said I could stay over for the night Mr.Vantas!" 

"Yay!" He picked you up and spun you around in a tight hug.

"I-I can't b-breathe" He put you down and sheepishly scratched the back of his head.

"Sorry about that! And call me Signless, not Mr.Vantas"

"Signless? Thats an odd name, but I still think its...Vantabulous!" Signless laughed.

"This is why I like you! We share the same sense of humor!"

"I don't know if I should be surprised or afraid"

"Probably both, now you can borrow some of Kankri's pajama's and if you get hungry there's ice cream in the freezer!" he walked out of the living room, but right before that he quickly said

"Oh and condom's in the bathroom!" you blushed.

"What was that??"

"Nothing!" you sighed, picked up your bag, and headed up stairs to Kankri's room. His had a sign that said 'Please refrain from triggering' in bold black letters. Knock Knock. 

"You may come in" he was sitting in a chair next to his computer going over notes.

"Hey Kanny can I borrow some pj's for the night?"

"Of course and I'll guess that you are staying then, am I correct?"

"Yep! And thanks again for letting me stay."

"Its not that big a deal, consider yourself part of the family" he said with a smile and pointed to his closet. You opened it to find everything neatly hung up and tucked away. You picked out a pair of flannel pants and a (f/c) oversized t-shirt. 

"I'll just go change then" you walked to the bathroom down the hall. As soon as you left, Signless burst through to Kankri's room.

" 'Consider yourself part of the family'? Really, are you asking to be friendzoned!" Kankri rolled his eyes, and put down his notes.

"I do not want to be anything other than friends"

"Yet"

"Why don't concern yourself with something other than my love life?"

"Because thats no fun!" 

"Goodbye" he swung the door shut.

You had just but on the pajama's when you heard some noise from Karkat's room.

"Shit! You won again you fuckass!" you walked in.

"Why are you yelling Kitkat?" you saw he had on a head seat and was playing a video game.

"None of your damn business"

"Hey KK ith that a girl I hear?"

"Yeah, what the fuck about her?"

"Nothing itth just that girlth have no place in video gameth"

"What the hell did you just say lispy!?" you stormed over picked up another controller and sat down.

"Nooksniffer, did I say you could play!"

"Shut up, I'm showing this geek how wrong he is" 

"Oh you're on"

                                                                                ------------Two hours later------------

"Holy thit!"

"How the every loving fuck did you do that!" you smirked happily.

"Cheat codes. What do you think I did in my spare time?"

"Well, I gueth that thome girlth are good at gaming"

"Ha! so I proved you wrong shit-for-brains"

"It'th Thoullux, not thit head!"

"Whatever, but you're pretty good too"

"Thankth, see ya tomorrow KK and you and me have a rematch girly"

"Its (name) by the way" you took the head seat off as did Karkat

"Well what do we do now?"

"Wanna watch another movie, we got time to kill"

"Sure"

You two made it downstairs and you saw that Kankri was reading a book. You signaled Karkat to stay, you tip toed behind the couch, and....

"BOO!" He flinched and threw the book so far it hit the wall.

"Please do not do that its highly triggering!" you hopped on the couch and laid down.

"Aw you're no fun!" He got up and went to get his book back. 

"Hey fuckass what do you wanna watch? How 'bout 27 Dresses?"

"Does it have to be a romcom?"

"I thought you enjoyed those romance comedies (name)?"

"I do, but if I watch too many I feel depressed about my own love life"

"What love life?"

"Exactly, you're looking at hopeless romantic number one" you hugged an pillow to your face, while Kankri listened intently.

"Why can't I just find a guy to tell me he loves me in a hundred different languages or say something cheesy like 'You're not a a chapter, but a whole book' or something!" you flopped over on your stomach. 

"Those guys live in the movies, asshat" Karkat scooched you over to sit.

"I have an idea for a movie!" Everyone turned their heads to see Signless. Holding (insert insanely scary movie).

"Are you sure we should watch it?" Kankri asked. He plucked it out of his father's hand.

"Triggers include #blood #gore #scenes not suitable for children #shock warning-

"Kankri stop being a killjoy!" Signless picked it back up and threw it at Karkat. 

"Put it in and start watching it, Kankri help me make some popcorn!" he dragged him into the kitchen while you and Karkat started the movie

                                                                -------------------------In the kitchen!-----------------------

Kankri P.O.V

"What are you planning?" I said as I put some popcorn in the microwave. 

"Oh nothing~" I gave him a glare and he put his hands up in defense.

"Alright, alright. I'm planning the classic 'scare the girl' technique!"

"Excuse me?" My father put his arm around me and said

"Oh you know, when the movie scares your girl and she curls up into your chest and you in return keep her safe for the rest of it. Its the perfect plan to reel her in!" 

"I don't need your help"

"So you admit you want her!" I blushed and pushed him away.

"I have not admitted anything of the like, father" 

"Yes you have~! (Name) and Kankri sitting in a tree!"

"Oh gog please stop! This is so triggering..."

"K-I-S-S-I-N-G! First comes l-" I shoved the cooked popcorn in his mouth.

"Please refrain from mentioning anything that has to do with matespritship concerning me and (name) while she's here" he gulped down the food in his mouth.

"Alright, but the minute she leaves I'll bug you about it!" He took the popcorn and went to go sit down. I face palmed and followed. This is going to be a long night.

Normal P.O.V

"Fuckfuckfuckfuckfuck"

"Don't turn aro-AHHHHHHHHHH!" you threw popcorn everywhere as all the Vantas's screamed in terror. Karkat had his sweater pulled up to his nose and was yelling fuck every minute, Signless was curled up in all the blankets he could get, and Kankri had a tight grip on your arm and would flinch every time something happened. You on the other hand actually liked scary movies and were commenting on how fake everything looked. And even though you looked fine, this stuff actually gave you nightmares. 

"Told her not to turn around" you mumbled. 

"T-thats a l-l-little obvious fuck face"

As soon as the movie ended everyone was just silent.

"So Karkat, still wanna watch 27 Dresses?" he just glared at you from underneath his sweater. Signless peeked up from his blankets then burst out of them with a huge smile.

"Well that wasn't that bad! Bed time now! Remember to lock your windows and try not to get eaten!" he rushed up stairs to bed.

"I-I'm gonna try and go the fuck to sleep. Night" Karkat left as well leaving you and Kankri.

"T-hat was horribly

"Triggering" he gulped.

"Yes, let's try and go to sleep"

"Okay, so can I just crash on the couch?"

"Sure, I don't believe we have a spare bed or a sleeping bag so that would be your best option" he got up and went to his room.

"Good night" he called.

"Yeah, good night" you pulled a blanket up to yourself. Now you're all alone. In the dark. After watching a scary movie.

"This is gonna be a long night" you said as you started flicking through the channels.

Kankri's P.O.V

I woke up gasping for air. That movie was extremely triggering. But I knew it wasn't the movie that made me have that nightmare, I saw that same little girl in my dreams frequently. I decide to get something to drink to clear my mind. As I went downstairs I saw (name) huddled up in blankets watching some cartoon on the tv.

"(Name)?" she jumped a little before turning to me.

"Oh, hiya Kanny, what's wrong? Can't sleep?"

"Yes and I take its the same with you"

"Yeah, wanna watch something?"

"Alright" I sat down with her and we began talking about random things.

"So Kanny, what were those notes you were reading earlier?"

"Those were notes covering topics the big debate in a couple of days"

"Oh I forgot you were on the debate team! So can people come watch the debate?"

"Yes, and I was going to invite you to come, but you don't have to if you don't wish to"

"Sure I'd love to come! Supporting pals is what I do!" she did a crooked salute and I couldn't help but laugh at how stupid she looked. We went on from that topic to many other's and I was right, it was a long night but that didn't mean it was a bad one.
